Mr. Pancake
Attorney at Paw
If joy had fur and a tail, it would look a lot like Mr. Pancake. This 140-pound Newfoundland (affectionately known as “the big floof”) was born on January 25, 2020, and he has been living his best life ever since. His hobbies include swimming, eating fries, swimming again, and taking long naps to recover from… swimming. He’s basically a professional lifeguard who retired early to enjoy snacks and belly rubs.

Pancake’s favorite toy? A stuffed fry. His favorite food? Actual fries. His favorite life philosophy? “If I fits, I sits, preferably in water.” Though he looks like a bear, he’s really just a giant heart on four paws, always ready to love, comfort, or drool on anyone lucky enough to be near.
In the CGH family, Mr. Pancake reminds us not to take life too seriously and to find joy in the small things and warmth in the everyday moments. Because sometimes, healing starts with a smile, a wag, and a reminder that love (much like a Newfoundland) can take up a lot of space.
Mr. Pancake is living proof that compassion doesn’t always wear a suit, sometimes it wears a soggy grin and smells faintly of pizza and fries.
