Accessibility Statement

CGH Injury Lawyers is committed to making our website usable by as many people as possible, including those who rely on assistive technology or have other accessibility needs.

Our commitment to accessibility

We work to align this website with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines are recognized internationally as the standard for accessible web content. Our goal is that every visitor, regardless of ability or technology, can read our content, use our forms, and contact us for help.

Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We regularly review our pages, test with assistive technology, and address barriers as we find them. We do not claim full or certified compliance, and we know there is always more work to do.

What we do to support accessibility

Keyboard navigation

Core site functions are reachable by keyboard alone. Focus indicators are visible so keyboard users can track their position on the page.

Text alternatives

Images that convey meaning include descriptive alt text. Decorative images are hidden from assistive technology so screen readers are not interrupted by irrelevant content.

Color and contrast

We aim for text contrast ratios that meet WCAG 2.1 AA minimums. Color is not the only way we convey information or status.

Semantic structure

Pages use proper heading hierarchy, landmark regions, and meaningful link text so screen readers and navigation tools can move through content efficiently.

Reduced motion

Animations respect the "prefers-reduced-motion" media query. Visitors who have set this preference in their operating system will see content without motion effects.

Responsive design

The site is built mobile-first and tested at multiple screen widths. Content reflows at small sizes and does not require horizontal scrolling.

Known limitations and ongoing work

Third-party content and tools embedded on this site, such as the case intake form, are subject to their own accessibility standards and are outside our direct control. We work with our vendors to encourage accessible implementations, and we provide alternative contact methods so no one is excluded.

We are actively reviewing our content and will address identified barriers as part of our regular site maintenance. If you find something that is not working for you, please let us know so we can prioritize a fix.

Report a barrier or request an accommodation

If you experience difficulty accessing any content on this site, or if you need information in a different format or an accommodation to communicate with our firm, please contact us. We will do our best to respond promptly and provide an alternative.
