Kacie Garbus

Kacie came to work as a litigation legal assistant on a nontraditional path — by way of the stage, the service industry, behavioral health, and healthcare compliance. Each of those chapters taught her some version of the same thing: the details matter, the people matter more, and neither gets your best unless you stay calm when things get loud.

She brings a keen eye for detail and a deep well of compassion for all people to every task that crosses her desk, whatever it is and whoever it’s for. She knows that behind every case file is someone living through one of the hardest chapters of their life. Kacie’s job, as she sees it, is to make sure no one goes through it alone.

Outside the office, she’s usually in the garden, on a yoga mat, or cooking for a table full of people she loves. It’s a fair description of how she works too — patient with things that take time, steady in the practice, and happiest when she’s taking care of someone.
