Trauma Care
AdventHealth Greeley
Greeley is better covered than most cities its size, with two designated trauma centers inside the city. North Colorado Medical Center, a Banner Health teaching hospital with 223 beds, operates a Level II trauma center and handles the most serious injuries in the region. UCHealth Greeley Hospital, open since July 2019, is a state-designated Level III trauma center. For an injured rider this means definitive care is usually available locally rather than requiring a transfer to the Front Range, and it also means the records may sit in two separate hospital systems depending on where the ambulance went. Knowing which one holds what, and gathering both completely, is part of proving the true scope of an injury.
