Why us

Built for the music community

Some of us at CGH have been part of the music scene since the underground rave days of the early ’90s. As Travis Howard puts it:

Technically speaking, my first Denver rave—before it was even called RiNo—was December 1996. That’s 30 years… DJ Dan, Hipp-E, Tribal Touch…

Travis Howard, Partner

Dan Garza still talks about seeing Paul Oakenfold, Sasha, and Digweed in the late ’90s. And Kevin Cheney? He put down the milk bottle, picked up a glow stick, and hasn’t looked back since. Music isn’t just something we enjoy, it’s part of who we are. From our annual team trips to Red Rocks to countless shows throughout the year, live music is deeply embedded in our culture. So when the opportunity came to partner with Mission Ballroom and support their Designated Driver Program, it was an easy yes.

Drunk driving continues to be a serious issue in Colorado, especially on Friday and Saturday nights. Too often, those incidents involve people leaving concerts, venues, and bars. There are better options, rideshare, taxis, and designated drivers, and small decisions can make a life-changing difference for you and everyone else on the road. Colorado is home to some of the best venues in the country, and Mission Ballroom stands at the top. With over 180 shows a year, it’s a state-of-the-art space built for people who truly care about sound, energy, and experience.

This year, CGH will be activating onsite at select shows, and we plan to show up the right way. You’ll find us with ticket giveaways, swag and essentials (yes, earplugs included), and photo moments with our mascot, Pancake. More importantly, you’ll find a team that genuinely cares about this community. Because while we hope you never need our services, we want you to know we’re here if you ever do.

The stakes

Why this matters

In 2024, Colorado recorded 215 impaired driving-related fatalities, with the highest arrest rates among those ages 25 to 34. If this program helps prevent even one of those incidents, if it helps one person get home safely, then it is worth it.

  • Prevent impaired driving

A planned ride home beats a decision made at last call.

  • Protect the community

Friends, fans, and everyone else on the road that night.

  • Safety as part of the show

Make getting home safe part of the concert experience.
