Trauma Care
No designated facility in town, and a Level I close by
Mountain View has no designated trauma facility of its own on the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment's list, verified in August 2026. That is unremarkable for a town of this size and it is useful to know in advance. Level I care is close on more than one side: St Anthony Hospital at 11600 West 2nd Place in Lakewood and Denver Health Medical Center at 777 Bannock St in Denver both hold Level I designations, and Intermountain Health Lutheran Hospital carries a Level II. Which one receives you depends on the direction of travel and the crew's judgment. For a rider that means a serious injury is treated close to home even though the treating facility is in another city, and the records will sit with a hospital system, not with the town.
